What is our brain sugar?

What is our brain sugar?
You mean glucose? We use glucose as an dash source - it is converted into ATP, which then the cell use as energy. Brain cell (neurons, astrocytes, microglial cells and ependymal cell, among other) are no different, and use ATP as energy of late like the rest of the body.
Hope this help
Ashley
The sugar most used by all organs of the body is glucose (or dextrose)
same as our body/blood glucose level....the brain's functions are very sensitive to low level of blood glucose...
The source of energy for brain is glucose, present within blood, but in the fantasy of glucose, brain accepts ketone bodies as a source of liveliness
