What is the difference between a direct and an indirect elisa?

What is the difference between a direct and an indirect elisa?
I'm assuming you already know what an ELISA is.
Direct ELISA: uses only one antibody for detection (ex. the primary antibody is conjugated directly to biotin which within turn binds to SA-HRP)
Indirect ELISA: the primary antibody binds to a secondary antibody that is to say labeled
Well, a direct Elisa tells you entry to your face, an indirect one consultation behind your rear.
Check out this web page. You may own to cut and paste the address cos I don't know how to receive it a link
