What is frank blood?
"frank" in this usage would be synonymous near "overt"- meaning the blood be obviously detectable. as opposed something like microscopic hematuria- which is where on earth blood in a urine taste isn't visible to the bare eye, but can be seen below a microscope.

That which is easily see and identified. Like blood from a wound. Its opposite is "occult" (ie. hidden) blood which wishes to be detected via chemicals, as in test for colon polyps.
It isn't brutally honest, but just a opening of saying it's overt, as anti "occult blood," which does not participate contained by devil worship, but is just not smoothly seen. English is a remarkable lexis, isn't it?
Sounds like the heading of a character surrounded by a movie, but it's not. It's blood you can see.
Examples: You can have blood contained by your urine that is detectable just by a urine test - to be precise occult blood. If you pee and SEE blood, that would be "frank blood"
