there are three types of muscle: smooth, cardiac, and striadic.What is the medical residence for smooth muscle?
It is non-striated muscle to be precise under involuntary control by the autonomic a bundle of nerves system. As a part of homeostasis, your body automatically determines the diameter of your blood vessles and bronchioles for example, depending on the want for blood to the cells or airway resistance. I would utter that "smooth muscle" is an acceptable medical occupancy.
