What make speedy release Tylenol work?

I have some nippy release Tylenol i bought. I was looking at the pills wondering what make it rapid release. The pill is blue on one finish off, red on the other with a stripe of white contained by between. What is odd is the colored ends are a gel type coating and the white stripe seem to just be the pills underneath. Is here something that makes this pill deissolve faster than regular tylenol? Is it the gel coating on respectively end and the exposed center? I grain like I am missing something.What make speedy release Tylenol work?
